グラミー賞／チャイルディッシュ・ガンビーノ「This is America」

いろいろと問題を抱えているように見える.....グラミー賞。

「グラミー賞（Grammy Awards）」の第61回授賞式が2月10日（現地時間）、米ロサンゼルスのステープルズ・センターで開催された。 　「グラミー賞」はここ数年、白人優遇の黒人差別や女性アーティストの不遇問題が取り沙汰されることが多くなっていたこともあり、今年から主要4部門の候補者数を5枠から8枠に拡大し、投票メンバーも女性やカラード（有色人種）を増員するなど、幅広いジャンルのアーティストが脚光を浴びるように改革を推し進めていた。

Entertainment! で颯爽と登場した Gang of Four 。

結構すきまのある音....こんな感じだったか。

荒々しさが丁度いい。

アンディ・ギルのギターは、やっぱりカッコいい。

完全に外を向いた音楽だと思う。

モッズ...スモール・フェイセス

これまであまり「スモール・フェイセス」を聴く機会はなかった。

ロッド・スチュアート、ロン・ウッドが加わった、「フェイセズ」は、少し聴いた。

「スモール・フェイセス」は、モッズの代表的なバンドであるが、モッズというと「ザ・フー」を先にイメージしてしまう。「ザ・フー」は聴いた。

ただ、ピート・タウンゼントのインタビュー記事に「俺たちは、モッズに見られようと一生懸命だった。本当のモッズはスモール・フェイセスだけだ。（https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ザ・フー）」なんていうのを見てしまうと...スモール・フェイセスを聴かなければならない。

今は本当に便利で、YouTubeで検索するとたくさんのビデオに出会える。

ビーチ・ボーイズの「ペット・サウンズ」と癒し

今日なんとなくビーチ・ボーイズの「ペット・サウンズ」を聴いたら、ホッとした。

「ビーチ・ボーイズ（浜辺の男たち）＝サーフィン」といったイメージは、今はあるののだろうか？

どうなんだろう？

今のサーファーは、どんな曲を聴くのだろうか？

やっぱりヒップホップなのだろうか？

60年代は、各国とも戦後生まれの世代が戦後の平和を謳歌していた？　

ビートルズもビーチ・ボーイズも、その他のロックも、そんな時代に可能性を広げていく。

あまり難しいことを考えなくても良かった時代なのかな？

「ペット・サウンズ」は、サーフィンのイメージから離れたとはいえ、ブライアン・ウィルソンの根っこにある「波の波長」が伝わってくる。伝わり加減がちょうどいいのかもしれない。

最近聞かないが、1/f 波長の癒しというのがあった。そういったものを自然と身につけていて音楽で表現しているのかもしてないな〜と直感的に思った。

アークティック・モンキーズ....成長し続ける姿勢

最近何を聴いているかな....と考えると、アークティック・モンキーズの以前のアルバムは聴いていた。

アークティック・モンキーズは、「https://room7.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2006-12-14」で記事にしているが、もう１０年以上前のことになる。息が長い。

これは2013年に発表された５枚目のアルバムなので、私のiPhoneの中では新しい方である（とても... ）

子供のサッカーのビデオを作った時もBGMに使った。なかなか雰囲気があって、そういう向きにもおすすめだと思う。

それで今、2018年に発表された「トランクイリティ・ベース・ホテル・アンド・カジノ」を聴いている。

渋みを増した大人のバンド。メロディアスな楽曲が情感を表現している...。

楽曲のほとんが、アレックス・ターナーによってスタインウェイのピアノを用いて作曲された（https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/トランクイリティ・ベース・ホテル・アンド・カジノ）ということなので、こういう方向性を彼ら自身が選択したという、強い意志のようなものが現れている様にも思う。

すこし聴き比べてみると面白い。

年月を経ても、自らのコピーをするのではなく、成長を目指している姿をみると、なんだかうれしい。
